Tangos for piano solo, each dedicated to a special women in the composer’s life:
Tango No. 1 for Malgosia and her new born. I imagined that mother with the newborn in her arms would dance to the rhythm of this tango.
Tango No. 2 for Barbara, who sang this melody as part of the Super String Quartet for the Twind New Year’s concert. It is a slow and somber dance with the universe.
Tango No. 3 for Amanda, the character in The Glass Menagerie that pined for the past days of her youthful romance. Her memory is surreal and fantastic.
Tango No. 4 for April Dahl award winning dancer in Rochester, MN.
