I host Symphony Sunday on WDRT FM 91.9 in Viroqua, WI once a month programming classical recordings with an emphasis on contemporary music. My segment, TheComposerStudio on the Air features performances and recordings of performers that collaborate with living composers. I often include new recordings and recordings of local chamber music performances in the Driftless region highlighted with interviews and in-studio performances. Some of my recent interviews have included the American composer, George Crumb, conductors, Alexander Platt, and William Intrilligator, architect, Roald Gunderson, flutist, Jonathan Borja, and clarinetist, Corey Mackey. And of course, I will be previewing the programs of the La Crosse Symphony Orchestra and the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra. I love programming new classical recordings with an emphasis on contemporary music particularly when the style of composition involves crossing over into other more popular music. I also occasionally will share content from my quarterly, podcast, Music in so Many Words. You can listen online at wdrt.org
